• Develop and maintain interface management plans, procedures, and tools to track and monitor interface issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct regular interface issues throughout the project.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for interface management on oil field projects, working closely with engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Visibly support the clients Program and maintain HSE focus within the team to ensure HSE requirements included in all interface activities involving design, procurement and installation.

• Ensure the implementation of an effective risks and opportunities management system, technical discussions related to interfaces to mitigate potential impacts on project schedule, cost and quality.

• Ensure the design and installation teams are aware of and comply with customer's requirements and applicable regulations and codes by participating in design reviews.

• Ensure clear lines of responsibility, clear split of scope of work, clear communication channels and decision-making processes throughout the project organization.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to resolve interface conflicts and ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives. Also ensure vendors, suppliers, subcontractors compatibility, time management delivery, integration of interface elements in accordance with project specifications.

• Report and monitor on interface performance metrics, trends and risks to project management and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Proven experience as an interface engineer in the oil field industry or a similar technical field.

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management practices and interface management techniques.

• Familiar with oil field operations, equipment, and processes.

• Proficiency in project management software, interface management tools and MS Office applications.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Sound knowledge of project execution processes and tools, including interface resolution.

• Experience on offshore execution teams involving the delivery, installation and hookup of an FPSO /FPU will be of particular interest and added advantage.
